I wish I had made the door to my master bath a pocket door.
We have a combination of solid and hollow core doors in our home. The hollow core doors are the "normal" swinging doors you see in most modern construction. Solid core doors are just like they sound - more solid. They reduce sounds by 70% and have a heavier, more substantial feel, but at an additional cost (I can't list it here, because it changes regularly and I could be giving out incorrect information.) We use the solid doors on all of our pocket doors and I chose to use a solid door on my master bedroom door (and I'm glad I did!)
